Zone Swim Trials - RESULTS

We had a successful day today at Jellie Park for the swim zone trials. 35 students attended and gave it their best shot to be selected for the Oaklands swim team to attend the South West Zone swim meet at Wharenui Pool on Tuesday, March 11th.

Here are the official results of today's events.  Mr Hillary and Mr Forman are in the process of selecting the swim team. This will be announced in due course.

Oh, and your children were AMAZING ambassadors for Oaklands School.

Thanks also to our wonderful supporters who cheered us on. We appreciate you being there.

The cut of date for registering through the school is fast approaching. Please get your completed registration forms and payment into the office as soon as you can.

Training will start next week for those who are interested.

NOTE: In error, the email I sent to everyone said '7 March' when it should have said '7 February'. Sorry about that.

Everything will be exactly the same as last year in terms of the times your child plays. So, if they are in the Under 7s and 9s, they play at 4:35pm; Under 11s and 13s - 5:15pm.
The only thing that changes is the field.

At Halswell domain, in the middle of the fields next to the vehicle, you will find the draw with which field your team is playing on.

Welcome to sport at Oaklands in 2014, and welcome to our new sportsblog.
